Who we are

FirstCom Radio is a two-way radio company with offices in Las Vegas, Nevada. We sell, service, and rent two-way radios, and we design and build the repeater systems and tower sites that carry their signals. Sales and service are available nationwide, in all 50 states.

Our customers include public safety agencies, security companies, casinos and resorts, event and festival organizers, construction firms, schools, hospitals, and businesses of every size. What they have in common is simple: when they press the button, they need to be heard.

What we do

We supply handheld, portable, mobile, and base station radios from Motorola, Kenwood, Icom, Hytera, Tait, and Kirisun, and we service those and many other popular brands. We work with analog radios and with the DMR, NXDN, and P25 digital standards, and we offer LTE and push-to-talk over cellular radios with nationwide coverage.

Beyond the radios themselves, we provide dispatch consoles, full public safety radio services, voice and data encryption, FCC licensing assistance, in-building coverage systems, and vehicle installations. For short-term needs, we keep more than 500 radios in stock and available for immediate rental.

How we work

We begin by listening. Before we recommend a radio or design a system, we want to understand how your people work, where they need coverage, and what would happen if communication failed. The answers decide the solution, and they are different for a festival, a fire department, and a factory.

We favor equipment that is mission critical and reliable, with the battery life to last a full shift. And because radio systems do not keep business hours, neither does our emergency service, which is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
